Andrew Ziska is an excellent student and loves school.  He goes camping with his family, and he enjoys swimming.  He loves animals, especially dogs.  4th of July is one of his favorite holidays, when he lights some of the fireworks himself, (and Grandma sees his great pleasure).  He is an avid reader; he will devour a chapter book in a day.  He also loves to draw new and ususual things.  His current sketch book is filled with pages of mutated bugs.  

Writing is his favorite hobby.  He has been entering (and winning) writing competitions since he was in 1st grade.
