Stickball

Our ancestors played stickball. They liked to play the game a whole lot. They played different Indian tribes. It is rough.

You play with a special stick. It is long with a circle and strings. It is made by hand out of wood. You play with a little bitty ball. You wear shorts and nothing else.

The object of the the game is to score 12 points by running the ball through branches. You can hold with your stick. You can tackle them. That is fun. It can sometimes hurt when you get tackled.

You throw the ball up in the air and catch it with your stick. If you catch the ball you can take off.

If someone tackles you, you can throw it through the branches.

You have to use your stick to pick up the ball. You can pick up the ball with your hands for the last point.

You get to go to the river after the game.
