I am in the Midwest in a state known for its corn and prairies. Where am I? Illinois is the Land of Lincoln, the birthplace of Ronald Reagan, Ulysses S. Grant had a home here after the Civil War, and President Obama calls Chicago home. Metropolis has a giant statue of Superman in front of the courthouse even though it is only a small town on the Ohio River. New Salem is where Abe Lincoln came as a young man.
