What is the difference between Dnet dial-up and wireless Internet service?
The Internet service is the same. Both provide E-mail "Virus" protection, pornography filtering and soon to come "Spam" filtering.

The dial-up service requires a phone line. Wireless does not. Wireless is always connected.

How does wireless work?
Wireless is a line of sight technology that uses radio waves to communicate; not telephone wire. If a client can see the point that Dnet is transmitting from, with a set of binoculars, most likely they could receive Dnet wireless service.

Why would you want to change from dial-up access to wireless?
First of all, every time you want to use the Web or check E-mail, you do not have to dial up. You are always connected to Dnet Internet Services. The wireless service provides two other major improvements in service. One is the ability to pass slow moving traffic and the other is higher data processing speeds.

As an example, if you were driving on highway 28, North here in Franklin North Carolina, and you came upon a slow moving vehicle you would have to drive at his speed even if you were able to go faster.

On the other hand, Wireless Service provides a passing lane so you can pass the slower moving traffic. Much like it is on US 441 north. Now that you have passed the slower moving traffic you can travel at much higher speeds than dial-up service. As much as 25 times faster, depending what service speed limit you sign up for.
